(On a scale of 1-10) What were the BEST ARFF related improvements in 2002?

My choice is:

The ARFF Computer-Based Training Program!
It was outstanding work by members of the ARFF community and FAA to produce a free and very useful training program! Sure the heck beat the old 1986 era slide and tape program. ;)

My second choice would be the introduction of the Oshkosh Striker. (Note- My opinion is from reading reviews and talking to fire fighters with hands on experiences)

My third choice would the updated ARFFWG (http://www.arffwg.org/) website. Very cool updated look and without the flashing banner ads.

What are your thoughts about improvements in ARFF this year, what would you add to this list?

We have had the opportunity to have a thermal imagner put onboard our Engine. (MSA) It's a great assest. The only setback is twice now the cops have asked to use it for searching fields for suspects that have ran from them. Upside it has worked both times. It's great to see the techonology has been introduced to the fire service:p

I vote for AC-150/5220-10C the updated Federal Specifications for ARFF units. ARFF units built under the above specifications are so far above what most of us are using!!!
