Washington, DC - National Transportation Safety Board Chairman Mark V. Rosenker is urging airlines to voluntarily adopt changes in the way they calculate stopping distances on contaminated runways, in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidance issued in response to an urgent NTSB recommendation.
