Pretty standard thing that happend when A/R-ing from a tanker that has leaky valves on the boom. Upon disconnect, the residual fuel in the lines vent through the boom and blur the vision for about 15 seconds. The resulting rest of the fuel gets ingested by the engines with no harm.

Ironically, I've got about 18 hours in aircraft 80-0195, the pictured aircraft.

Cool infomation, I always wondered what would happen if jet fuel was ingested during re-fueling. I always thought misting fuel would create a torch effect.
